Is there a working example for DA14531 configured as central device with security to bond with another DA14531 module configured as peripheral?

The one already present in the SDK6 examples in the GitHub repository is made for SDK SDK6.10.511 and doesn't work with the present 6.0.16.1144 or 6.0.14.1144.

Find the already present not working example here: BLE_SDK6_examples/connectivity/central_Security_Demo at main · dialog-semiconductor/BLE_SDK6_examples (github.com)

Hi vikramb,

Thanks for your question online. Let me check this and I’ll get back to you.

The Central Security tutorial is applicable for DA14585/586.

You could check the https://github.com/dialog-semiconductor/BLE_SDK6_examples/tree/main/connectivity/central SW example to configure the DA14531 as a GAP Central and then our BLE Security on DA145x devices  tutorial to enable security.

Thank you sir. I've tried quite a few times to enable security in central devices using the same tutorial. But couldn't get any of them to work. I will now try with https://github.com/dialog-semiconductor/BLE_SDK6_examples/tree/main/connectivity/central as the base code and let you know.

Sir, is the procedure same to enable security in both peripheral and central devices? Should the same changes in the tutorial be made in both the peripheral as well as central device codes?

Hi vikramb,

As mentioned in the following forum ticket, you managed to add security on your example :

So, closing this ticket. Please raise a new one if you have any follow-up questions.
