N-Channel MOSFET Drivers

High Side Gate drivers provide the ability to switch Desktop, Notebook, and Netbook power rails ON and OFF in a more efficient and linear manner by facilitating the use of N-channel MOSFETs rather than typical P-channel MOSFETs. High Side Gate drivers substantially reduce part count, thereby saving sleep mode power (via reduction in leakage current) and reducing PCB area at cost parity with existing solutions.

High Side Gate drivers also provide support for any Intel Reference design load switch for ramp rate or delay. Additionally, High Side Gate drivers can help your products meet current and future EnergyStar specifications without increasing cost.

What is the application for GreenFET load switches?

GreenFET high-performance load switches can be used anywhere there is a requirement for switching power rails from 0.25 V to 25.2 V. They have a very small physical size, very low standby current, and controlled voltage ramp rate.


How can I control the voltage ramp rate on GreenFET load switches?

Most of the GreenFET load switches have an adjustable voltage ramp rate. In some devices, this is set with an external capacitor, in other devices, this is set with a resistor in series to the ON pin. There are a few members of the family that have a fixed voltage ramp rate.


Does Dialog provide demo kit and evaluation kit for GreenFET?

What is MSL level and RoHS status on GreenFET?

The entire GreenFET family package is MSL level 1 and 6/6 RoHS compliance.
