Basic Blocks and Functions
A Demultiplexer, or demux, is used to select which of several channels is sent an input signal. A demux is used in applications where it is useful to send several different types of data across one line and is commonly found in communication systems.
- Any GreenPAK
- No other components are needed
- Connect the IO like the GreenPAK diagram above. For a larger demultiplexer use more pins.
- Configure the LUTs to each have a unique, active low value. For example, 2-L3 will be LO when both SEL0 and SEL1 are LO.
