For example, we developed chips for the Xbox 360 console and game pads, allowing users to enjoy a wireless gaming experience comparable to the speed and reliability of a wired game pad, while eliminating the clutter of cables.
The Xbox 360 wireless interface solution consists of a base module integrated into the Xbox 360 console. It connects up to four wireless game pads (including voice and data for each connection). Linking up via Ethernet / WLAN allows wireless multi-player gaming.
Important in this application is interference prevention and quality audio in combination with real-time data. Our baseband chips include all digital and analog interfaces, including USB. The integrated battery management supports both standard and rechargeable batteries. The chips are all offered in standard CMOS technology.
For customers IADs enable an integrated yet flexible voice and data network for the home or office that makes use of existing infrastructure and are fully compatible with existing voice and data equipment. Moreover, the network can be easily expanded simply by plugging in additional equipment such as telephones, faxes or PCs.
