Careers: Senior CAD Engineer (Analog)
Kirchheim unter Teck-Nabern, Germany
We are seeking to build up a new CAD Team at our German site in Kirchheim unter Teck-Nabern (near Stuttgart). Candidates should have a strong background in the analog design environment using tools from Cadence and Synopsys (e.g. Virtuoso, Spectre, Hspice, etc.).
Main overall responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining Dialog’s CAD environment with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Providing excellent technical support for Dialog’s engineers in the use of the Dialog CAD tools
- Ensuring thorough and accurate documentation is suitably maintained by taking full responsibility for ensuring updates are undertaken in an efficient and timely manner
- Proactively maintaining a positive relationship with all external and internal contacts
Key tasks include:
- Supporting designers in the Cadence analog design environment using simulators like Virtuoso, Spectre etc.
- Contributing to the development, optimisation and maintenance of in-house and foundry developed PDKs and ensure high quality standards are met
Furthermore, deep understanding of device models for industry standard analog simulators is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate service-oriented behaviours. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills are essential. Fluent written and verbal English is essential, and fluent German (written and verbal) is preferred.
