Main Overall Responsibilities:
- Ensures that appropriate manufacturing timescales are available to meet customer and internal commitments
- Behave in a professional and creditable manner throughout the company, suppliers and customers
- Communicate issues through the Production Planning Group Leader.
- Ensures highest possible delivery performance to customers while keeping financial impacts (WIP/inventories) as low as possible
- Ensure production costs are kept on the bare minimum level
- Maintain vendor relationships on a high level
- Ensure that actual Supply Chain performance is in-line with external/internal and benchmark expectations.
Main Tasks:
- Translate received sales demands into according production demands throughout the supply chain
- Collaborate with all necessary internal and external functions in order to achieve defined delivery goals
- Define and maintain benchmark measurements, customer/supplier surveys and balanced scorecards
- Participate on supply chain and/or corporate related improvement projects
- Ensures that yields and timescales are factored in to plans.
- Report Production Planning related KPI’s to Production Planning Group Leader in a frequent manner
Skills required:
- Engineer, Technician or specialist with related commercial and technical education
- > 3 years experience with technical and commercial responsibility, preferable in the semiconductor related industry
- Knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor- or related electronics industry.
- Background in Production Planning& Control related functions as well as SAP/APO-knowledge would be an asset
- Fluent English, verbal and in writing
