Role Definition: We seek an experienced professional Field Application Engineer to support our Display Driver / Audio and Power Management. Critical aspects of the role include customer satisfaction, demand creation and input to new product development. The ideal candidate will prove themselves capable of delivering results in each of the critical aspects of the role. Applicants are required to have a proven technical background gained in the product areas specified. Applicants also need to demonstrate proven success in demand creation and NPD.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Provide a consistently high level of global front line support to our main customers in display driver / audio and power management products. • Support customers during pre and post sales phases. Specifically: o Uncovering and progress opportunities through to commit and win stages. o Providing first line technical support to customers during their design phase including system integration. This includes applications debugging. o Interfacing with our design engineering resources to provide in depth technical responses to customers. o Ensuring that design wins translate to revenue i.e. minimizing Time To Money (TT$) o Gathering and synthesizing customer inputs to impact NPD • Creating applications collateral. Specifically: o Development of design kits (sw/hw) to enable customers to evaluate our products. o Creations of application notes. o Assist with competitive data analysis to assist with product positioning and promotion.

Key Candidate Attributes:

• Proven technical acumen related to display / audio and power management systems. • Proven commercial acumen with the ability to relate technical issues to return on investment. • Highly experienced in front line customer support / interface. • Experience of IC design and proven capability to provide first line applications support for ICs. • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communications skills. • Written and verbal English. • Flexible to undertake international travel at short notice. • Working experience as an FAE for Samsung and/or LGE mobile phone
