Careers: Design IT Interface Engineer

Main Overall Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support design data revision control environments.
- Maintain, manage and support bug/issue reporting and tracking system.
- Maintain and support utilities for designers like SGE, Scilab and Octave.
- Support user community expert advice and solutions
- Create and maintain up-to-date user guides and provide training as appropriate
Main Tasks:
- Manage and maintain the DesignSync environment and servers.
- Provide expert DesignSync tool setup and support by helping users with queries and solutions in line with their needs.
- Provide DesignSync documentation and training to enable users to use the tool effectively.
- Manage and maintain the Jira bug tracking environment
- Provide support to users to achieve an efficient bug and issue tracking and reporting system
- Provide training to users as needed
Skills and knowledge required:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English,
- Ability to prioritize work, set goals and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- In depth knowledge of revision control systems and tracking tools as applied to IC design activities (like DesignSync and Jira).
