Gregorio Reyes
Chairman


Gregorio joined the Board in December 2003. His experience is primarily in data storage and magnetic recording, semiconductors and telecommunications. He was President and CEO of National Micronetics from 1981 to 1984, and Chairman and CEO of American Semiconductor Equipment Technologies from 1986 to 1990. He co-founded Sunward Technologies in 1985 and was Chairman and CEO until 1994. He is currently non-executive Chairman of LSI Logic and a non-executive director of Seagate Technology.


Dr Jalal Bagherli
Chief Executive Officer


Jalal joined Dialog, as CEO, in September 2005. He was previously Vice President & General Manager of the Mobile Multimedia business unit for Broadcom Corporation and the CEO of Alphamosaic. He has extensive experience of the semiconductor industry, through his previous professional and executive positions at Texas Instruments and Sony, and a wealth of knowledge about the Far Eastern, European and North American markets. He is a non-executive director of Lime Microsystems Ltd.


Rich Beyer
Non-executive Director


Rich joined the Board in February 2013. He was the Chairman and CEO of Freescale Semiconductor from 2008 to 2012. Prior to this, he held successive positions as CEO and Director of Intersil Corporation, Elantec Semiconductor and FVC.com. He has also held senior leadership positions at VLSI Technology and National Semiconductor Corporation and served as an officer in the US Marine Corps. In 2012, he was Chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Association Board of Directors and served for three years as a member of the US Department of Commerce's Manufacturing Council. He currently serves on the Boards of Freescale Semiconductor and Micron Technology Inc.


Chris Burke
Non-executive Director


Chris joined the Board in July 2006. Until the end of 2004, he was CTO at Vodafone UK Limited and was previously CTO at Energis, after spending 15 years in Research & Development at Northern Telecom. He holds appointments at Connectivity Ltd (an Esprit, and 3i Portfolio Company); Tatara Systems; OneAccess; INUK Networks; and March Networks. He currently invests from his own fund and provides strategic advice to a wide range of investors and technology companies, including HP Communications & Media, and VantagePoint Venture Partners.


Mike Cannon
Non-executive Director


Mike joined the Board in February 2013. His career in the high-tech industry spans 35 years, including over 10 years as CEO of two Fortune 500 companies. He held successive positions as President, Global Operations of Dell Inc., CEO of Solectron Corporation and CEO of Maxtor Corporation. Prior to this, he held senior management positions at IBM and Control Data Corporation. He currently serves on the Boards of Adobe Systems Inc., Seagate Technology and Lam Research.


Aidan Hughes
Non-executive Director


Aidan joined the Board in October 2004. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in the 1980s before taking senior accountant roles at Lex Service Plc and Carlton Communications Plc. He was Finance Director of the Sage Group plc from 1993 until 2000 and, from December 2001 to August 2004 was a director of Communisis Plc. He is a director of, and investor in, a number of UK private technology companies.


John McMonigall
Non-executive Director


John joined the Board in March 1998. He has been a director at Apax Partners since 1990 and, between 1986 and 1990, held a variety of senior positions at British Telecommunications plc and was also a member of the management board. He is currently on the board of several other public and private companies including Autonomy Plc.


Russ Shaw
Non-executive Director, Chair of Remunerations & Nominations Committee


Russ joined the Board in July 2006. He is currently the Vice President & General Manager for Skype with responsibilities for its Mobile Division as well as Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously, he was at Telefonica where he was the Global Director of Innovation. Before joining Telefonica, he was the Innovation Director at O2, which he joined as Marketing Director in 2005. The strong brand and product range he established resulted in significant customer growth. His more-than 20 years' senior marketing and brand management experience in the telecoms and financial services area has enabled him to bring an excellent level of knowledge to Dialog.


Peter Weber
Non-executive Director


Peter joined Dialog on 1 February 2006. He brought with him 35 years’ experience, gained at a broad range of companies in the semiconductor sector, including Texas Instruments, Intel, Siliconix, the Temic Group and Netro Corporation. Since 1998 he has been an investor and management consultant, and is a director of a number of companies in Europe and the US. Peter holds an MSEE degree in communications engineering.


Dr Chang-Bun Yoon
Non-executive Director


Dr. Chang-Bun Yoon was Chairman, CEO and President of SK Broadband (formerly known as Hanaro Telecom). He was chosen as “CEO of the Year 2004” by the Korea Management Association and he received a “Top Management Award” from the Korean Institute of Communication and Sciences in 2004. He was President of Korea Information Society Development Institute, a national strategy institute for IT sector, and has been actively involved in policy recommendations for the ministries and government agencies in Korea. He was a non-executive member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Audit Committee for Korea Telecom, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Seoul Broadcasting Systems Ltd. Chang-Bun Yoon has a comprehensive understanding of the global IT industry and telecommunications market and is recognized as a contributor to Korea’s IT and telecommunications development.
